Maintenance/Facilities Manager
Our Client, a Market Leader within the Heavy Engineering Industry throughout the South Yorkshire Region is seeking a dynamic Maintenance/Facilities Manager to manage full projects of the site and machinery throughout the site.
The Role:-
To maintain and restore the buildings and company’s facilities/machinery throughout the whole site including the surrounds to a high standard and to company expectations. This will be predominantly managed by the on-site team that report via Team Leader/Supervisor to you.
Main responsibilities:-
To project manage Planned Maintenance onsite. This will include all improvements onsite i.e. finding solutions to manage downtime and best practices, through setting and monitoring of KPI’s, to measure effectiveness, best working practices through finding better working solutions. Experience of TPM Systems would be preferred. Ideally you will have worked within a similar role with good commercial experience within a Heavy Engineering/Manufacturing background. You will have the ambition to drive this successful team forward in ensuring all maintenance productivity and targets are met or exceeded.
Your Key Skills/Attributes:-
We are seeking individuals who are self manageable with the ability to think on your feet, alongside the capability of being part of a team. It is important that you have a strong, strategic manner in order to manage your time and the teams’ time effectively. You can work autonomously and make decisions as well as plan effectively for future site plans in order to deliver this in a professional manner to the Senior Management Team during meetings and briefs. You will be tenacious and driven by results with a key eye for detail and a strong management capability of being responsible for a large team of individuals.
You will be an enthusiastic yet dynamic individual with the desire to succeed within your role as well as have the capability of enhancing and developing your skills to move into a more Senior/Director Role in the future.
Educated To:-
Ideally you will be educated to Degree level or above in Manufacturing, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, however candidates with good experience within a similar role with HND will be considered. .
