A successful and innovative candidate is required by this local company to be responsible for the design and detailing of components and assemblies using 2D and 3D CAD. Reporting to the Engineering Development Manager the successful candidate will assist in project co-ordination and the completion of all drawing office QA documents. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and will be required to work closely with other in-house departments throughout the various stages of new product introduction. They will also be required to assist in the up-keep of all Intellectual Property / Patent requirements such as drawings and records and will assist in the testing of new components. The successful candidate requires a recognised qualification in an Engineering discipline, needs to be fluent in 2D AutoCAD and ideally 3D Inventor, and needs Project management skills.
